Calendar view
The calendar view shows a whole month at a glance β each day is a cell in which that day's entries appear as small bars. It is ideal for planning occupancy, catering and groups across several weeks. You open it via Calendar view in the sidebar.
The monthly grid
The week starts on Monday. In each day cell you see up to three entries with time and name or title; if there are more, a "+n more" hint appears. At the top right of the cell is the number of expected guests (on wide screens). Use the arrows to change the month, and Today to return to the current month. Changing the month reloads only the grid β your browser's back button returns you to the month shown before.
Clicking a day
A click anywhere in a day cell opens the day panel on the right. It lists all entries of that day β including those hidden behind "+n more" in the cell β plus markers for a special day or a closure day. Two buttons take you further: New entry opens the form with the date already filled in, Open day list shows the reservation list filtered to that day. Every entry in the panel links to its detail page.
On the phone
On narrow screens the grid turns into an agenda: only the days with something going on are listed one below the other β date on the left, entries on the right. Days without entries are left out. Tapping the date opens the same day panel as on the desktop.
Colours & markers
The colour of a bar shows type and status: green stands for confirmed, brown for still pending reservations. Purple marks catering, blue an appointment and orange a group booking. A legend below the grid explains all the colours. Additional markers point to special days: a star stands for a special day, a struck-through circle for a closure day.
Jumping to the details
- Click a day to open the day panel with all its entries β from there you reach the day list or a new entry.
- Click directly on an entry to open its detail view.
- Use the list toggle at the top to switch between calendar and list.
This way you plan long-term and, when needed, jump with a single click from the monthly overview straight into an individual day or booking. The calendar view thus complements the day view, which shows the individual day in detail.
