Profile & photos

Your profile is the public face of your business: it feeds your guest page and the preview that appears on Google and in shared links. A complete profile with good photos builds trust and brings more bookings. Allow about ten minutes.

Completing your profile

Tip for first-time setup: with Search your business on Google you can adopt your business from Google Search β€” name, address, phone and (where available) opening hours are pre-filled automatically. Everything stays freely editable afterwards. If the search is not available, simply enter the details by hand.

Open My Restaurant β†’ Profile & Contact. Here you maintain the name, description, cuisine type and price range. The description appears on your guest page β€” describe the atmosphere and what you offer in a few sentences. All text fields can also be maintained in English via the "EN" button.

Address & contact

Enter street, postal code and city β€” the address is required and provides the "Open in Maps" link. Add phone, email and website, plus optionally a separate notification email that new reservations are sent to. In the "Legal" block you store your imprint and company details.

Photos & primary image

You manage photos under My Restaurant β†’ Media Gallery. Upload images via drag & drop or the picker button.

  1. Use the star icon to set an image as the primary image β€” it serves as the preview and cover image (including for Google and shared links).
  2. Use the eye icon to toggle a photo into the gallery so it appears on your guest page.
  3. Change the gallery order via drag & drop.
Use bright, straight-on photos in landscape format. The primary image should show your venue at its best β€” it is often the first impression.

You upload your logo separately, directly on the profile page (JPG, PNG or WebP). It appears in the widget and on your guest page and rounds out your brand presence.

For event providers

For event providers, restaurant-specific fields such as cuisine type and price range do not apply. Whether your provider profile appears publicly in the directory is not controlled here but via the Publicly listed switch under Settings β†’ Bookings & Rules.
