Waitlist

On the waitlist you collect guests for whom no table is currently free. When a seat becomes available later, you offer it to a waiting guest and convert the request into a reservation with a single click. You open the waitlist via Waitlist in the sidebar.

Adding a guest

  1. Click New waitlist entry.
  2. Enter name and email (required) and optionally phone, party size, desired date and desired time.
  3. Save β€” the entry appears with the status "Waiting" in the list.

List & status

Using the filters you narrow the list by search term, date range and status. An entry goes through the following statuses: Waiting, Notified (a table has been offered to the guest), Booked (converted into a reservation), Cancelled and Expired (the offer has lapsed).

Offering a table & converting

When a table becomes free, open the entry and click Offer a table. There you set the date, time, table and the validity period of the offer, and write the guest a message β€” with a template if you like. The guest is notified and the status changes to "Notified". If the guest accepts, you convert the entry into a confirmed reservation via Convert to reservation.

If the guest does not respond within the deadline you set, the offer expires automatically and the seat becomes free again β€” so no table stays needlessly blocked.

Every entry keeps a log of its events (added, offered, converted), so you can always trace what happened to a request.
